It's time for a change. It's time for a new season in life...

New Season is a multicultural, multigenerational community of believers, focused like never before on meeting the needs of our community. We desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus, helping those that are far from God, find a relationship and a new life with Jesus.

Lead Pastors Andres & Wendy Lopez

  • Pastor Andres H. Lopez was born in San Jose, California. Coming from a broken home and having lost his father at the age of 13, Pastor Lopez quickly turned to the world for comfort. After struggling with drugs and alcohol, and attending counseling, he had run out of answers. On December 24, 1988 Pastor Lopez packed his belongings and drove to New Mexico to visit his mother for Christmas. He never returned to San Jose. At a church in Santa Fe, he committed his life to Christ.
  • Pastor Lopez and his wife Wendy, have committed their lives to serving and helping every person, regardless of race, background, and economic status, to achieve their fullest potential. Having started New Season Church, Pastor Lopez continues to take the Message of Jesus to Rio Rancho and the greater Albuquerque area. Pastor Lopez is committed to building a revival, evangelistic church, devoted to seed planting and development.

Connection Groups & Media Greg & Megan Chen

  • Greg and Megan met in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2000 and married in June of 2001. They moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico in 2009, where they met Pastor Lopez. They started attending New Season Church in 2010. At that time, they were going through a rough patch in their marriage. Through a lot of prayer and faith, they’ve seen an amazing miracle of a restored marriage; that only the lord can do.
  • They are both very active in ministry, and oversee small Connection Groups designed to bring people together with similar interests. Both Greg and Megas are self proclaimed computer geeks and share the Audio Visual part of leadership, running projectors, computers, and the sound board for New Season Church.

Hospitality Team Cathy Dickerson

  • Cathy, the oldest of 11 children, was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She married Bill Dickerson in 1970, and has been blessed with 2 children, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
  • Cathy came to the Lord in 1983 at a time when she felt her life was falling apart. Prior to her commitment to Jesus Christ, no one had taught her that she could have a personal relationship with the Lord. She tried to fix everything herself, but had a void in her heart that only He could fill.
  • In 2015 after losing her job of 35 years, God called her and husband Bill to Rio Rancho to help Pastor Lopez and Wendy at New Seasons Church. Cathy is active in ministry and leadership, as well as leading the Welcome Ministry, ensuring every guest gets a welcoming smile.
